Latvian Chef of the Year 2020″ announced and “Reaton Golden ladle ” is presented
On October 2, “Latvian Chef of the Year 2020” was announced – Heinrich Erhard (Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga), winning the “Reaton Golden ladle” award.
Deniss Korotkov (restaurant “Ogle”) was recognized as the best assistant cook, winning the “Reaton wooden ladle”.
For 14 years Latvian Chef’s Club in cooperation with “Reaton” is continuing the tradition of organizing the annual chefs’ competition “Latvian Chef of the Year”, in which the winner of “Reaton Golden ladle” is determined.
This year 6 chefs took part in the competition- Heinrih Erhard from Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, Ozoda Abdullaeva from restaurant Laivu centrs, Artūrs Marčenoks from restaurant Ogle, Jānis Osis from Hotel Hestia, Nauris Salenieks from restaurant Kaļķu vārti and Kirils Komarovs from restaurant Laivas.
The chefs were judged by an international experts jury from Latvia – Reaton Golden ladle winners Raimonds Zommers and Ina Poliščenko, Finland / Sweden – Jari Karlsson, Lithuania – Jaroslav Orsevski and Estonia – Rudolf Viisnapuu.
